The Paramount parks are only 20 miles north of the city center on I-95, Busch Gardens and Water Countryare a 45 minute drive to the east on I-64!

Busch Gardens - Busch Gardens, acclaimed as America's loveliest theme park, is a beauty that also houses a few beasts within her gates. Nationally ranked as two of the top 10 coasters in the US are the Loch Ness Monster and Alpengeist. Watch out for the Big Bad Wolf and Apollo's Chariot, but don't forget the Garden's newest thrill ride, Curse of DarKastle! Shows and rides of all kinds fill the park's European themed villages, including a great kids place, Land of the Dragons. Open from mid-March to the end of October. Paramount's Kings Dominion

Paramount's Water Works
- Bigger, Better, Wetter and one price covers both Paramount experiences! There was a major redesign in 1999 of Paramount's Hurricane Reef Water Park! Cool off and chill out on those hot summer days with some quality time spent in a cool wet world with some great water slides, rapids and thrills! Water Country USA
